Here's my own personal favorite hand gesture:

Notice the unholy length and crookedy-ness of that middle finger! I like to accentuate it by not propping it up with the two side digits. I like to flip the bird "Old Man Style."

Not that an extremly long middle finger doesn't have its... Uses. Catch my drift?
