on the other side
Green grass, it eludes me.
Last night I couldn't sleep.
Now it's all I want to do.
But I have miles to go.
My little pony is jingling his harness bells at me right now.
We gotta get along, little dogies.
When my mom used to drink too much she always said "whoo, dogies" and I'd want to kill her.
Thank goodness the past recedes. Like gums. And hairlines. And the horizon when you're lifting off...
Sleep, yeah, sweet lethe, come take me in your arms, holy angel child.
It's 4 pm and I can't hold it on the road.
Last night I couldn't sleep.
Now it's all I want to do.
But I have miles to go.
My little pony is jingling his harness bells at me right now.
We gotta get along, little dogies.
